Keepsake ultrasound industry now offering much more than just photos
When the relatively new keepsake ultrasound industry first got started, many parents were amazed by the 3D and 4D fetal photos produced by the small and portable ultrasound machines. Now, thanks to the expansion of offerings by keepsake ultrasound portrait companies, parents can get everything from DVD videos to full size posters to greeting cards featuring their baby. And because of the availability and affordability of used ultrasound equipment or leased ultrasound equipment, many keepsake businesses are able to offer various photo products at prices that will bring a smile to the parents’ faces.
Many parents are using the keepsake ultrasound photos as part of the traditional birth announcements or as part of an invitation to attend a baby shower. Expectant parents are also finding that social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook are great places to share those photos with family and friends all over the world. The popularity of fetal ultrasound photos also received a boost when it was reported that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes used the technology to watch the development of their child.
